For our Global Business Process Excellence team we are looking for a Procurement Business Transformation Manager (f/m/d).

As a Procurement Business Transformation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of procurement in one of the world's leading construction material companies. Based in the historic city of Heidelberg, you will collaborate with a global community of professionals dedicated to driving change and excellence.

This position is located in Heidelberg, Germany and you will report to the Head of Procurement Business Transformation.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE

  • Be a change champion, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and simplification across Procurement

  • Drive end-to-end business transformation, using data, process mining, and AI-enabled solutions (including AI agents and automation) to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency across all HM countries

  • Centralize and optimize transactional procurement activities within the Business Service Center by addressing root causes of inefficiencies and performance gaps

  • Use process insights to drive impact, leveraging tools such as Celonis to identify bottlenecks and support fact-based decision-making

  • Build strong expertise in digital procurement solutions, including SAP Ariba, SAP MDG, S/4HANA, AI, and RPA technologies

  • Play a key role in the S/4HANA implementation and multi-country rollout, supporting harmonized and efficient end-to-end processes

  • Ensure clear and effective communication across diverse stakeholder groups

YOUR PROFILE

  • Strong expertise in Source-to-Pay processes, with a solid understanding of end-to-end procurement workflows

  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to translate insights into practical solutions

  • Proven theoretical and hands-on experience with S/4HANA and SAP Ariba, combined with exposure to process mining, data analytics, or similar tools

  • Genuine interest in emerging technologies, with curiosity and openness to exploring new digital and automation-driven solutions

  • Excellent communication skills, able to clearly articulate ideas and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • University degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken; German or additional languages are a plus

  • Willingness to relocate to Heidelberg, Germany
