Senior Manager Operational Efficiency AMWA (f/m/d)

For our Competence Center Cement AMWA we are looking for a Senior Manager Operational Efficiency AMWA (f/m/d).

This position is located in Heidelberg, Germany and you will report to the Area Director CCC AMWA.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE

• Implement the Plant Operational Model in our AMWA Region:

  • Build the necessary networks

  • Work closely with the Global POM Manager

  • Prepare regular reports and keep track of the progress

• Coordinate Group Initiatives within the Area to reach Group targets in Sustainability and Operational Performance Improvement as, Productivity benchmarking (Pilar 1 & 3), Cost benchmarking.

  • Drive studies into execution including business case evaluation

  • Work with Global CCC, GR&D, ESG and other Group departments to achieve set targets

  • Investigate and support the implementation of solutions and projects “out of the box”

  • Support HoD on priority issues that can be challenging due to ambiguity, complexity of problem, and cross-functional nature

YOUR PROFILE

• University Degree in Engineering or Technology, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in cement or similar industrial application

• Experience as a Plant Manager is beneficial

• High social competence, excellent team spirit and intercultural understanding

• Strong leadership, motivational, and team building skills in a multidisciplinary setting

• Agile mindset to work in cross-functional teams and proactive, innovative, and value-driven thinking

• Ability to demonstrate excellent lateral influencing skills and ability to manage multiple independent projects

• Self-motivated with strong negotiating skills

• Ability to manage changing situations effectively

• Moderating skills and motivation for facilitating engaging (virtual) webinars, trainings, and workshops

• Fluent English - Additional language skills are beneficial

• Good know-how and application of state-of-the-art media and information technology

• Willingness and ability to travel
